For this first activity, we chose the Landes Aventure park, near the Golf de Mimizan. This sensational park in the trees offers over a hundred workshops and 11 accrobranche courses for young and old alike. In particular, you'll be able to take off on the 230-metre-long zip line. In a forest shaded from the sun, you'll have the chance to spend a lovely afternoon, as well as picnic in a dedicated area. Landes Aventure is open to children aged 2 and over, and costs from 8 euros.

2) Disc Golf

Always just a stone's throw from the beach and located in the state forest, this is a sporting activity for all the family: Disc Golf. A 12-hole course and a smaller 5-hole course where the latter is replaced by a basket target and the ball by a Frisbee-like disc. The aim is to finish the course by hitting all 12 targets with the discs, just like in golf.

An original and fun activity that still retains a competitive aspect, to spend a lovely afternoon with the family before going to cool off in the ocean a few meters away...

3) Terra aventura (L'arche de Zahan - Lac d'Aureilhan)

Terra Aventura is an immersive and original experience with many different scenarios and routes in several French regions. The aim is to solve riddles in order to find hidden characters.

This life-size adventure, which takes place in nature, will give you a pleasant and unique family moment.

This concept was born from "geocaching", which is the use of geo-positioning by satellite thanks to a mobile application. It's quite simply a connected treasure hunt in the heart of the Landes region.

The route closest to Mimizan is called "L'Arche de Zahan" on the theme of animals. It takes place around the Lac d'Aureilhan and takes you on a 7 km trail to solve the enigma.
