The 7 Laux resort!
For the start of the winter season and the recent opening of the slopes, we've decided to introduce you to the 7 Laux resort. The latter is located near two of our Cévéo vacation villages: le Pleynet and le Haut Breda. So we'd like to introduce you to this resort, so that you can get a better overview!
The ski area
These 120 kilometers include up to 51 trails: 11 green, 14 blue, 19 red and 7 black. This wide range of pistes allows everyone to improve at their own pace, but also to evolve on pistes that change.
There are also 7 black "Freeski" pistes for the more seasoned skiers, including the Vallons du Pra piste, offering magnificent scenery! This run is partly responsible for the reputation of Les 7 Laux, starting at the top of the resort and reachable via the Gypaète chairlift. What also makes it so successful is its level of difficulty, since only the most experienced can manage to descend it from the start...
Other activities...
The 7 Laux resort also offers many activities other than downhill skiing. One of them is quite famous at Le Pleynet: the Wiz Luge! The concept is pretty simple: it's a toboggan that hurtles down a track made of rails over 700m at a pretty high speed. So if you're a thrill-seeker, this sounds like the activity for you, to try out something unique and original. Bonus: the Wiz Luge is accessible to children aged 3 and over, accompanied by an adult!
Also original is the Snakegliss, a series of sledges hooked together to follow the same trajectory. This activity can be enjoyed with family or friends, to hurtle down the slopes together!
If we return to the more classic, Les 7 Laux also features other more well-known activities. In particular, you can take off your skis and take flight with a paragliding activity. You can also take off your skis and enjoy snowshoeing on a variety of itineraries. Guided walks are also available, giving you the opportunity to discover the wildlife and landforms of the Belledonne massif.
Cévéo accommodation
In Isère, the 7 Laux Resort is accessible from two of our rental accommodation sites.
At Le Pleynet, you'll find a residence made up of apartments or studios that can accommodate between 4 and 7 people. This residence does not offer catering, but is close to the resort's restaurants. The main advantage? The residence offers direct access to the slopes, with a free private ski locker.
The Haut Breda vacation village offers full or half-board catering, as well as entertainment. Here, too, there are studios and apartments ranging, however, from 2 to 8 people. There are also a number of advantages, such as the + Resto, which allows full-board guests to have lunch in a restaurant at the foot of the slopes. What's more, a shuttle from the vacation village to the resort is also available.
Finally, the Haut Breda vacation village also offers a Finnish chalet. You can book it (with a contribution) according to availability, to enjoy a meal in an original and unique setting!
